I don't think that this is just me being stupid, but I can't seem to search for "1.5jz". If I search for "1.5" I get anything that has numbers - 11.5 seconds for instance. Searching for "2jz" works fine. Searching for "1.5jz" just gets "Your search did not match any messages or pages on this board". This happens on both the main board and the old ALSC archive. I've tried escaping the "." but nothing seems to work. What am I doing wrong?

For some or other reason it does not recognise the character before the period.

Try and do a search on 5jz (part of word) and you will get all.
