I dont watch Top Gear that much but i do like the show, and me and a work mate have actually been talking about Top Gear the last couple days.


We are both curious WHO is the STIG??? Does anyone know? Has it been announced?

There has been more than one Stig and the original one has been identified. Search the net and you will find out more, but they seem to have done a pretty good job of keeping his various identities secret.

I doubt that Mansell could withstand being kept a secret . Besides, he is much fatter than that. Damon Hill was a popular choice of whom it might have been at some stage, but he denies it entirely.

Yeah i did a little research last night, and came up with Perry McCarthy as the 1st Stig.

But the general conclusion was that there was a few Stigs, Damon Hill came up abit but doesnt seem it was him.

The lastest rumour is that Ben Collins is the newest Stig?

But yeah there is suposed to be more than one at a time. Going on what ive read.
