| I noticed there was a thread titled "TT drivers". I believe one of the principles espoused on this site is that people are not slagged off on the basis of their car choice (unless it is not a grey import Toyota ). So, in fairness, I raise this thread. I shall raise another shortly. |

| Well, This would, at least, appear to be a far more intelligible thread than the TT one. |

| in the spirit of fairness... Personnel who chose, of their own free will, to drive a Soarer of vee eight engine configuration often experience difficulty in the finer art of spelling. I draw your attention to the following thread... http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/289/133723.html?1171443012 |

| Naturellement Monsieur Dan. All wisdom and culture reside on the V8 thread Ben, a little grammatical problem there; agreement of tenses?

| Last night I had an old guy - about 60 pull up next to me in traffic with his 1990 Mazda 626 asking i wind down the window. I did and he asked my girlfriend " why do you have a modified exhaust" I replied, "it came with the car" Poor dude hadnt heard a nice sounding Soarer V8 before Wouldnt get that with a TT ! |

| Ive got both and i remember my V8 getting blitzed off the line bye a piece of crap scooter...I think i can do with out that sweet sounding exhaust to save myself that sort of humiliation...I never had a manual V8 so i would'nt know about that. My V8's are cruisers and thats it i try not to waste time doing mods on them that gain me 1kw. And i think an inline six TT with exhaust and BOV's probably sounds alot better driving past than the V8. |

I think that comes down to personal choice. A good TT exhaust (like Gary's) can sound angry going past under full power, but a V8 with a decent exhaust going past under the same conditions - no comparison. Keep in mind too, that a lot of TT exhausts just drone, which doesn't do anything for me at all. |

Quite obviously a wanna-be TT guy. Just look at the punctuation. "getting off the line BYE a piece of crap", "with out" and "would'nt". My native language is not English but I'm sure I can do better than that. But hey, I drive a V8 with that SWEEEEEET exhaust sound. |

Well you haven't heard my TT, 264 inlet and exhaust cams, with exhaust cam gear, on idle very very phat indeed..... But on the flipside (and no I will not convert to the darkside) is that a V8 soarer with a exhaust does sound very nice too, but its ashame they still go like snails.... |

| Well, the JZZ31 has the best stock exhaust note anyway, no competition - which is about the only thing it does best, other than perhaps be reliable... |

| Nothing to do while waiting for jobs to finish (yeah, it's I.T.). I GET PAID to do this. But Ben is right. You could at least spell the insults correctly. Now we're at it. A totally irritating sentence (for me at least): Im definately going if your going to. Enough ranting. I don't mind a couple of spelling mistakes but laziness is abhorrent. |
