My band just got back a couple of the songs we recorded on Monday for our new CD. We recorded the songs in our house in just a few hours and on an almost non existant budget - have a listen to them at http://www.myspace.com/wisegents

I like the start of the last two. It gets a bit busy after my taste but the tunes are good.

Try and make simpler versions (and maybe slower). It would sound a lot better - and it DOES sound as if you can play. What's wrong with simple?

What are your influences?
Sounds like linkin park, Blink and greenday mixed.
Sort of like dream theater, if you know who they are.

Thanks guys. Yeah I know who Dream Theater are, I've got all their CD's... strangely enough we don't really consider them an influence but I guess something has come through... If any of you Victorian guys are going to the Apollo Bay Music festival on the weekend of the 20-22nd April, come check us out we play at the Surf Club on the Saturday night at 8.45pm. Peace
