Now before I begin I don't want this thread to turn into a "it's not a Lexus" bashing thread... too many of them on here already.
So... I'm doing a trade with someone in the USA (swapping airbags) however I'm not sure what kind of issues will arise (it could be considered as an explosive, after all).
So the question lies... what's the ideal method to send the airbag overseas?

One possibility is that if you both have steering wheel airbags, then you don't need to send the guts, just the outside part and retain and refit the airbag module on arrival. I also understand that primed airbags are OK cargo air freight.... if this is the case (check with Qantas), then there's no problem.....
