I have noticed that since i started frequenting these forums that my browser (firefox, i love my unknown security holes!) that it has been crashing alot.
Basically, the browser will stop responding and the profile will be locked (can close the browser, but process remains running and you are unable to load the same profile again)
Anyone been experiencing the same thing?
I think it may have something to do with the water toy thingo at the top left, however im too much of a slack sob to actually debug the source! ;D </geek>
I get the same too Callum... in both IE6 and Firefox. On Firefox it'll freeze up (the scroll bars move etc, but none of the gifs are animated, and the browser doesn't want to close, so you gotta Alt/F4 the bastard, Ctrl/Alt/Del to end the program .EXE manually and reboot Firefox) and on IE it just shuts down whenever it feels like it.

I sometimes have that problem. It only started to occur once i got broadband. I think it freezes up because the ADSL signal gets interference from other phone lines and just drops out leaving the browser and doesn't know what to do but shut down....

Man whats with your pc's guys. My firefox just cruises happily with no dramas. Even with all the nasties lurking in it from "accidently" finding myself on many porn sites.

I recommend Maxthon, it's a front end for ie so it works for internet banking and also keeps the IT guys at work happy as my profile is migratable with standard MS tools. Supports tabbed browsing, mouse gestures and an open in background feature, which I love. Yet to have ANY problems with it.

Paul, I mean Mel is away and I was looking at what the biggest tip ever left at a Restaurant was. So I typed in "huge tips" but I musta made a typo. See, it was an accident.
