RIP Mark. Wish you could have read what everyone has said on this thread. Tim - you have lost a great father and a really good mate. Each tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life, so make the best of it as your Dad would have wanted, and remember your Dad as a great bloke - we do.

I have read this post over and over, and it's still coming as a shock that Mark has passed away. I know he was a VERY knowledgable bloke, and was dedicated enough to help members out on this site, repair items, etc. From my readings, I also know he has gone through a few tough times, and maybe his passing is a result of these tough times, but I dont know this, and I rather it not be bought up if this was the case. For those of you who haven't payed Mark for services he has provided, it might be worth getting your finger out and paying for it, even if he has passed, at least help his family who is still here. I didn't know Mark personal, I only knew of him, but it's still a shock that he is no longer here, and I would like to pass across my condolences to the family in this time of need. Brian.

The name Mark Paddick was actually the name I first saw at Planetsoarer.com after I purchased my Soarer. After having explored web, I thought " This man is really smart and dedicator!! He's doing what he doesn't have to do. It's very good to have people like that especially for old cars.." that made me love my Soarer more and more and got me confidence to drive a 16 yo car. I don't know him personally, but talked with him through email few times ( about EMV things) Didn't even see his face, but I feel sad... very sad.. R.I.P Mark We will carry on your enthusiasm and thank you

My Name is Tim Paddick, Mitchelson is my mums name. Me and dad set up this account when he was kicked out of this site. We had to be a little naughty to get past peter lol. It means alot to me to read these comments and well wishes from everyone. I would just like to clear up the info for the cremation. It is on Monday at 10:30. It is located on Sandford Rd in Mitchell (I think it is number 65 but don't hold me to that). It's off the Barton Hwy if that helps.

Hi Tim, I offer my sincere condolences for Mark, but I would like to clarify that he was never kicked out. Perhaps as a showing of respect, we could all drive with our headlights on on Monday. I will be.

Well whatever happened we had to be sneaky to create this account. Do you think you can remove the block on my account so i can change some things on my profile please mate? I think driving with our headlights on to the funeral would be a great idea...I hope to see some familiar faces there.

Tim, I had a sneaking suspicioun you where a little closer to Mark than first met the eye. As I have mentioned before, I have never met or spoken with Mark, but from reading his posts and seeing the work he has performed for some of the members here, it's very apparent that he was a dedicated and deserving bloke. If I could have gotten the time off work, I would have gone down to Canberra to remember a truely deserving person. I will be taking 10 minutes out of my day on Monday to stop and remember Mark for the good work and help he has provided to the many people here. I will also be doing as Peter has suggested, and leaving the candles on while driving around on Monday as a mark of respect. B.

And just a word to everyone who had dad fixing any equipment, please don't hassle me about it. I do realise that you may need your things back, but there is a plan to get it back to you. It will just take some time. I have not personally been back to the house yet, so I don't know the extent of it. All I do know is there is alot so I'm just asking you all to be patient. All you will do by asking is getting me annoyed. I will let you know.

Tim, I am truly sorry to hear about your father. He was indeed a great man. Whenever I would call him for a quick question, we would always end up having a lengthy and enjoyable conversation. It was great to hear some of his stories, and I will sadly miss his presence on this (and other) forums. My sincerest condolences to you and your family Tim. R.I.P Mark.

Tim, I do regular trips to and from Canberra and Sydney, so if you need stuff taken back to Sydney for people, give me a hell, and I am more than happy to come around and pick up stuff to deliver to people, or we can arange a group meetup after one of my trips for people to be able to collect items. At this stage I know it's low on your list of things to do, considering it's only early days in regards to everything that is happening, if I can help you out at all, please let me know. Cheers, Brian.
