Here is a Post from Bens Mum from Another Forum... "Hi everyone, my name is Leonie (Ben's mum) and as I know that he has a few jobs on the go for various car clubs at present, I thought I should share this with you. Ben was utilising my sister's shed the past few days for his fibreglass work. I went there today to bring him some lunch and found him unconscious on the floor. It would appear that Ben did not take into account the poor ventillation of the shed and was overcome by the fumes of the chemicals that he uses. Ben is currently in hospital and not in too good a shape. At this stage he will be in hospital for at least a few days, or until he is able to breathe un-aided and regains some strength. I do not know how to use his email account and his phone is here with me (once again something I do not know how to use) so if you would like to pass on any correspondance please write it here and I will periodically check in and let him know when he is a bit better and post up any relevant replies. This is also the only forum that I am able to use as it is the only one that Ben has his username and password remembered, so if anyone can let any of the other clubs (SC I think he called it?) know that he is out of action, I think that he would appreciate it. Thankyou " Not good at all.... Lets wish him well and hope he recovers to full health in no time!

Probably a good thing that Leonie found him when she did. Ben works too hard, he needs a few days off anyway. Best wishes.

holy crap, not another casualty!!! Ben (And Family), hope all comes good very soon, it's a tragedy to hear about people working too hard and getting struck down, but to hear another forum member (a member of our extended family) is really bad news. Hope you get better soon man, and slow down on the hard work a little, your health is worth so much more than anything else in life. Brian.

Hey all, Benny C is back in the hizzle although I think I really do have the worst headache ever at present! The doc was suprised at how quickly that I managed to get back on my feet again (but threatened me with a fate worse than death if I didn't stay off them for a few more days!). Back at home now and just taking it easy. I was trialling a new brand of resin, decent price, resistant to fuel, oil, brake fluid, coolant and temps up to 120 degrees (can't half tell it was aimed at the motorsport market hey?). The blokes at the wholesalers said it works just like any other resins, but neglected to mention the fact that you'd be better of inhaling atomised 2-pac paint than being near this stuff! Time to invest in an extraction fan system I reckon. I'd just like to say a big thankyou to everyone for all your support and well wishes, it really does mean a lot reading that.

Ben, glad to see you back in action already, TOP EFFORT!!! (did they try feeding you hospital food did they?). Mate, get a decent extraction system in place, and please be careful, it chills me to see fellow forum members get hurt, or end up in hospital, let alone anything worse. B.

Glad to hear you're back on your feet Ben, but you'd better be staying off them! I'm interested in talking to you about this new resin. I've got an idea I'd like to run past you. When you're back into the groove and all repaired, give me a call: 0448 773 305. Cheers mate.

Glad to hear your ok man! A lesson to be learnt by us all. Be careful, some of the we do on our cars and use on them is potentially lethal. It's not 'wussy' to take that into consideration. It's no good being a tough guy at the bottom of a 6 foot hole when we could be sharing a beer with those mates that would be standing around it remembering what a great bloke/sheila we were. Not insinuating you were just trying to be a tough guy Ben understand the business of life trying to do everything for everyone, we sometimes miss that fine print trying to get it all done asap.
