Google "jew fish" - 2,080,000 Google "dhufish" or "dhu fish" - 20,900-110,000 I think we have a clear winner. I've always known it as Jew Fish myself, and never thought of any religous prejudice.

Jewfish is also called Mulloway. We catch them on the beach at Stockton from time to time. Here's the old man with a 50 pounder we got on a past trip http://ribfeast.no-ip.com/dad_jewfish.jpg

Can't be bothered arguing too much longer on this but... there is such a thing as a Jewfish. There is nothing on that sign which indicates that it is specifically a Westralian Dhufish. Jewfish is the family to which the Dhufish belongs to. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewfish http://www.britannica.com/eb/article-9043601/jewfish

Braden, how you going mate? I was the guy who borrowed a set of wheels from you at Newy Autosalon 2 years ago. Pity they didn't fit over my brakes, but I did managed to squeeze a few runs in with the 20s.

HEY THATS IN THE WHARF AT DARWIN! You should have taken the photo of the burger place next door to that one; CAMEL, BUFFALO, CROCODILE, GOANNA amongst other less than desirable types of schnitzel! Aroud here, catching a 'jewy' usually involves a bait caster reel/rod combo, some mullet or prawn/squid on a J hook and an incoming tide if you are on land/bridge. Very sweet fish, frys easily but is great for steamed asian style (spring onions, soy, ginger and Average catch (for moi) is around 70cm
