We are moving over to WA from NSW and need our cars moved over with us as we are flying over... I need to take my baby (My TT Soarer) and my bf wants to take his Supra and our Nissan Patrol.
We're moving over for work and need the Patrol over there at least when we get there (coz we have dogs and need to move them with us) but I was hoping someone had some info on getting 3 cars over there...
I have looked into getting them freighted via rail but wanted to check out other options...has anyone done this before? Or does anyone have any ideas or know anyone that does this sort of thing...We have 3 cars to move so we are trying to work out some sort of deal...We can get them to Sydney and were probably going to collect them at Perth...
I have "googled" around to get ideas but there is only a handful of people who do this and it's by train...

I remember talking to someone about a service where people can leave their cars with a company and people looking to travel to certain places are offered to drive the car there for them.
You are limited in time however and you dont know how the car will get treated, but if it is true then may be an alternative?
Rail would probably be cheaper than trucking it over.

I've moved 3 cars over to Perth now. I used www.movingcars.com.au They aren't the cheapest, aren't the quickest, but by far the most hassle free thing I've ever done.
They are basically an agent for TNT, so they do all the leg work. Just book online, and then call them with your credit card details. You can do depot-depot, or door-door ($130 extra for door-door).
You may even get a discount for 3 cars!
You get a TNT tracking number too, so you can see exactly where it is.
90% of transport companies use trucks from Adelaide and anywhere east, but from Adelaide to Perth its on the train (in containers)
