I can't match the screens I'm afraid (though I do have dual 21" Silicon Graphics CRT Monitors that display 1920x1600 oh so very nicely - almost identical to Alans Sony G520's, they are). The main reason why i haven't upgraded to LCDs as yet is because I'm too accustomed to the resolution (I wouldn't be able to settle for less than 1600x1200) and I don't feel like parting with a kidney to be able to get an LCD that does the kind of resolution I'm interested in.
The thing that's starting to annoy me about my PC setup is the heat. A comms rack containing two dual-core Athlon 64 systems and a dual PIII as well as another Athlon 3000+ system makes my really comfortable in Winter, but unbearable in summer.
When I eventually buy a house, I'm getting air-con!!!

Also have you guys heard of a program named MaxiVista? I haven't tried it yet but supposidly it turns a second computer into another desktop via a NIC or Wifi connection.

Heres something cool i stumbled across... thought its kinda relevant...
Synergy lets you easily share a single mouse and keyboard between multiple computers with different operating systems, each with its own display, without special hardware. It's intended for users with multiple computers on their desk since each system uses its own monitor(s).
Redirecting the mouse and keyboard is as simple as moving the mouse off the edge of your screen. Synergy also merges the clipboards of all the systems into one, allowing cut-and-paste between systems. Furthermore, it synchronizes screen savers so they all start and stop together and, if screen locking is enabled, only one screen requires a password to unlock them all. Learn more about how it works.
Basically it makes your keyboard / mouse work on multiple computers via a NIC

Personal opinion :- Avoid ALL 'name' brand systems (HP, DELL, ACER, WHATEVER) like the plague. Clone is the only way to fly.

Alan, If you want that...what the hell do you plan to do with it all....a space shuttle launch??? hahaha
Im looking at upgrading to a 19" LCD...I will mainly use it for uni type work, and also watching Movies, and playing only a few games...Im not a fanatic.
What do you guys recommend and what would be the possible prices. I have no idea about these things, so all the help would be appreciated.
