I resisted mightily for nearly 24 hours after seeing your post but, once Callum had broken the ice it was just like a, well, a Scott Ferguson sensation

Yes I have a supra bought last year, and getting information for it from Supra forums is just plain frustrating. They actually don't know much at all....
But damn the worth of Supras and their parts makes me happy... Still prefer the Soarer and that's why the Supra is going.

Easy solution hey Haydn.
I had a flashing 'Check engine light" in my 180sx, was trying to sell it, but the light seemed to turn people way, so removed the dash and unplugged the light, car sold the next day (/Absolute JOKE here).
Seriously, there is probably a faulty sensor in one of the seatbelt buckles, OR the lead going to the buckle has been unplugged.
I would be convined that the entire seatbelt has been replaced for ADR requirements, including the buckle, therefore there is no sensor buckle to complete the circuit and turn the light off, therefore it stay's on.
Check under the seat, see if there is a wire floating around, and if there is, take a paperclip to the wire, just bridge it and see if the light goes out (this will require you to re-install the light bulb).
Problem with imports in general is there are not a lot of people in the know, and those that are in the know or have the ability to find out about the stuff are usually way to busy to help out. If you need a new buckle, I can organise a brand new buckle for the Supra, decent price, and pickup is available as well.
