I am in dire need of a new power supply atm. I think that I may already be pushing the current one to its limits due to the new graphics card, but I also need to put in a new HDD and seriously thinking about a quad core chip as well. Only issue is that I am running a BTX case and motherboard (don't ask, long story!). Just curious if anyone can confirm that the power supplies are the same between ATX and BTX? I have read that they are somewhere, but just wanted to confirm prior to me spending $$$ on a new power supply. Cheers

You need a PSU with a 24pin MB connector (eg ATX v2.0)

And don't skimp out on it, the cheaper ones tend to have dodgy caps in them and don't last that long and can damage/reduce the lifespan of the rest of the components.

If I can find the site that has some interesting information/reviews on the different models I'll post it up.

Have a look at those 2 websites. They have some interesting information and should help you find the correct one for your needs.
