Just thought i'd post up to see if people here will admit to any of their bad habits. Im currently trying to break the habit of cracking my knuckles as I do it way too much without realising im doing it. I can feel what kind of damage it really must do as I haven't cracked them for 2 days now and my knuckles are killing me !!! Im glad i've got good pain killers from my knee reconstruction as I think if I cracked them now it would be heard 2 suburbs over so they are helping with all my pain at the moment Im doing good so far, theres been a couple of times where i've gone to crack them and then stopped but im basically constantly reminding myself to not do it. Another habit I had to break was smoking. Im sure theres a lot of people here who can relate to this one and yeah, it took me a while. I started smoking at the early age of 14 and quit when I was 19. tried counselling, tried patches, gum and the plastic ciggie but in the end the only way that worked for me was cold turkey and total determination, took me close to 6 months but I did it and have never looked back.

Good on you bro. Thats a real achievement. If you can quit smoking, stopping the cracking is reachable. My bad habit is going to bed late (or early?) and punctuality. A very bad habit to have, gf always threatening to leave me over it

I quit smoking 3 years ago after I gave up quitting cos I was fed up with starting and stopping. Then I stopped being physically very active and my lungs weren't being cleaned out and after about a month I couldn't breath and I had to stop cos clean air became a better hit than tobacco. Cold turkey and never looked back. Smokers are social leppers now

I gave up smoking Jan 07. Cold Turkey was the only way. * Why feed something you want to get rid off ? * Nicotine patches etc. I cant stand to be near a smoker now ( They utterly STICK ) I have persuaded my worker to give up..He is on some tablets..He has been off for about 6 weeks now,and he states he has never felt better. Bagg's..You still off the P1ss ?

Yes mate............Apart from special occasions, like when Mel & Pezza were here for New Years. Other than that, it's CAFFEINE central as the beverage of choice..... |
