One of my fav cars is the SHOgun Festiva, I just love how they've turned something so totally inappropriate as a sports car (had one as my first car) into a little rocket!

The engine in the open wheeler is obviously a Packard V-12, likely made under licence for the war effort. P-51 Mustang fighters had a similar motor, 2,500 plus horsepower. There is a cutaway version at the Canberra war memorial, check it out some time.
This truck? was parked next to Leno`s, it is running a Lycoming airplane engine(air cooled), I forget the capacity (BIG).
