the interior was updated from 2006 onwards, and is an improvement, but I don't like the exterior changes - revised shape headlights, rear wheel arch less flared, rear was slimmed down.

Are the 3.5L V6s straight forward to tune or fit a turbo to? I've read that not much effort has gone into fabricating aftermarket parts and upgrades, but don't know if that is true or just an individuals opinion.

Looks like a 350Z from the front and a new Integra from the back.

Is this the same 3.5L from the 350Z?

Maurice, yep:

"Nissan put a slightly more powerful VQ35DE in the 350Z, and although the Skyline & the 350Z shared the same platform, the 350Z had additional bracing, underbody aero parts, and weighed 100 kg less."

Mark, I can see these holding their value a LOT better than the 350Z's.

To my mind a better looking car, slightly more civilised and less "Look at me" than the Z.

A girl at work has just purchased a 2003 350Z "Track" model with body kit, rear wing , BIG alloys...........nice car in gunmetal gray.

The prices are dropping for the Z's. She paid $25k at 4 Guys Autobarn in Hamilton and it's mint!

Skylines are droping in value in Japan.

What you WOULD add to this car a HALTECH ECU..They have a Plug and Play setup for this model.

Very Nice Mark.

Ive always been quite interested in these models Even the 3.0 GT Model, but the 350GT is a in another league especially in the coupe form.

One of the more desirable cars from Japan at the moment, and quite good value. I've seen some of the 4 door 2.5/3.0L models at bargain prices lately.

Let us know how you get on! :-)

By the way Mark, are you now back in Auckland?
