Hi all,
During Movember (the month formerly known as November) I'm growing a Mo. That's right I'm bringing the Mo back because I'm passionate about tackling men's health issues and being proactive in the fight against men's depression and prostate cancer. Is anyone else taking part in this?
All I ask for is your $2 donation (all legitimate). You can donate online with credit card or PayPal and receive your printable tax receipt immediately.
A small $2 donation is all I ask. How much do you spend on lunch each day? $2 is your loose change which may help your life.
All donations $2 and over are tax deductable.
If I raise $30 or more from Soarer Central members - that's 15 people donating $2 each, I'll post my before and after pics of my Mo.

Fantastic cause this, its quite a reality too, a man at my old work had the dreaded prostate cancer a couple of months back, found through early detection so it was reversible/curable. Lucky man!
Someone, please do a "Gordon Brown is Stalin" Style mustache, as noted by Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear!

Leon & John, just put through a donation for each of you. I'm also a Mo Bro.
My father had prostate cancer, as did my best mate's father. Luckily both of them were detected early and managed to beat it. I'm now pushing 38 so will be getting checked for it regularly (it's a blood test now, not a digit up the date, mostly). Having a history of it in the family means I need to get tested, but even if you don't have a family history of it, it's still a damn good idea to get tested once a year anyway.

It still tends to not be helpful. My Grandfather had prostate cancer, which made it very difficult for him to fight off other sicknesses, in the end he lost the battle after suffering from pneumonia (I'm pretty sure that's what it was, it was kind of sudden and was almost 6 years ago). So yes whilst true, if your body is having to deal with cancer it will make you more susceptible and less able to fight other diseases/viruses. If caught early enough I believe it's very treatable.
