Hey guys went and saw this film on the weekend and i thought it was awesome but one thing that bothered is the above picture and in no part of the movie does he do this which annoyed the hell out of me, it was one part i was looking forward too, so did anyone else notice this as well.

Haha, its merely a production advertising shot. :-)

Was not a bad film, saw it on my PC, going to go to the theater when its out on the 27th to see it properly!

Not as good as the boost back in 2006 which Casino Royal gave the franchise but this is still quite good, was just lacking a real bad guy, gadgets, good bond girls and a thicker plot.

But at least Daniel Craig pulled it off perfectly. Far better than old Perice, he was too sedated a lot of the time.

I thought it was great, one of the best. For once it actually seemed like Bond was a spy instead of just a camp action hero.

I think the logic of the production shot is that QoS is the only 'sequel' in the Bond franchise as such. He looked like that at the end of Casino Royale, now the shot depicts him like that walking forward into the new set.

Well, thats just mho concluded with a mate (graphic designer) after getting on the cans following seeing the movie on the weekend.

I found they made him too super hero-ish, as in doing too many stunts that would kill or badly injure him, yes its a movie but I think they got a little bit carried away!

Big contrast to how Peirce Brosnan was in his 4 bond films.. much less physical compared to these new ones.

Still makes for good entertainment though! :-)

Agreed, it was a well done movie. Great, well shot action scenes, fast close and slow wide angles were immersing; well directed, well scripted, well played..

I liked seeing the darker, vengeful side to "Bond". Daniel Craig fits the role to a tee.

I saw it tonight, enjoyed it, love Daniel Craig as Bond and M was cleverly witty.

I'm pretty sure the promo shot in question is actually the one being used for the QoS game, as is the sequence of him running along with the weapon in the shot.

LESS action hero than Brosnan?? Maybe you forget where Pierce's Bond used to kill armies of villains at Russian bases or stealth boats, or drive a car with machine guns and rocket launchers that was more like a tank.

It lacked the depth of Casino Royale and went overboard with the action scenes, it was still entertaining and I will watch it again but I think Casino Royale was a far better film.

To me, there was too much time in the casino in Casino Royale. It got boring. This one, he was in many different exotic locations and a lot of the action was one-on-one or small groups. That's what a secret agent movie should be all about I reckon.. not invisible tank car versus ice palace full of thugs.

I agree with that...

Qauntum Of Solace was a much better than Casino Royale in my opinion.

Where were the Gadgets and Cheesy Bond lines :-(

I have to say, that's what makes a Bond Movie. If I wanted to see *Insert Random Action Movie Here* I would go see that, but I elected to buy a ticket to a _Bond_ movie. Utterly disappointed. Hell you can't even play a drinking game with this movie!

It was an Interesting film, but the only things that even remotely classified this as a Bond film was the fact that it had a lead character called "James Bond" who reported to a character named "M".

I guess In hindsight I may have enjoyed it more if I had seen it Casino Royale, but considering the way this movie was played I doubt I'll bother.

Bring the Cheese and the Gadgets!! Leave the full on Action to those regurgitated American movies that all seem to have the same plot with a different name.
