This is my other toy in addition to the soarer, and of course the trustworthy GSR sigma
Its a All original 1970 HG GTS monaro with Holden 308 and Trimatic gearbox. It is how you see it, nothing has been changed other than the wheels, still have the standards in the back shed.
Thats about it, eventually it will get restored, funds at the moment dont allow it, as it will be a bare metal restoration

Sweeeet!!!
Restored??
Looks like most of the works been done! Looks in very good nick for 1970 vintage! Used to have a 1970 XW Fairmont (non-GTHO unfortunately) with 302 and toploader. Don't see too many of these around anymore. Can't beat old-school.(except for power and handling, haha) Good stuff!

no its as you see it, has not been touched. Never been restored. why im planning for a baremetal respray in the future.
Its got the usual rust here and there, its to be expected after 38 years haha. Motor still runs like a champ and starts up evertime. Takes a bit on first start up, takes a bit to suck that fuel back up HAHA.

gees Scott, that is hot as! Yeah I agree with Gary, I thought it was restored too, she will be insanely hot when you have finished with her!! I have a 75 Hj ute with a 350 chev, they sure do love a drink hey haha. I get 320 kms to a tank, can you beat that?

Pretty much the same in the old Ford Kate. 200 miles (=320km) from a 60L tank and I was looking hard for a servo! Worst thing was that the fuel guage didn't work and I had to rely on remembering how many miles I'd done since last top-up. Give me Soarer economy and power any day! But still love the old school muscle.

thanks fellas. Havnt really added up the Ks per tank, i think the tank is about 70ish liters, but i would probably get 400ish per tank i guess. Depending on how you drive it HAHA.
Will be a while till the old girl gets restored now, finding a place to do it and having the time, i just cant find it. Havnt driven it for a good 4 months, might have to get it out for a run. Only thing that kills me is you clean it, and in 3 days its covered in cobwebs again from those dam spiders ARRRR
