Is it possible to hook my laptop up to my dvd player so i can play music through the surround sound speakers? The dvd player plays cd's and mp3 and sounds great but it would be handy to just play the songs off my computer..dont know if this is possible or not

Go down to Dick Smiths and get a 3.5mm Stereo head phone Jack to 2xRCA adaptor. Also a 2RCA to 2RCA 3m cable or something.

Plug head phone jack into ya lappy, attach the RCA leads to adaptor and plug the other ends into ya stereos AUX ports, or into ya DVD's Audio In's

Hope that makes sense

Yea like Brenton said. It's very easy to do...

Just get teh H/P jack that splits into 2 RCA's and plug them into the AUX ports on your sterio.

I do it with my computer aswell, hook it up to sterio and TV to watch movies and crap I have on it. Works really good.
