Much nicer drive in any case.
He will be there in the middle of the night lol, pitch black... whats the difference? He could drive in a gigantic toilet bowl and not even know it it'll be that dark

Hey Duy, I do this drive regularly. the last time i did it was 2 days after the last Bad flooding around Coffs Harbour (about 1 month ago) There will not be any problems on the highway as a result of flooding as the highway is raised above flood plains in the tricky spots. Go down the coast rd (Pacific Hwy) it takes aroun 12.5 hours with about 4 short stops I usually stop at balina, Port Macquarie, a quick toilet break just north of forster and a final stop for Redbull on the F3 between Newcastle and Sydney.
Watch speed cameras around 1.5 hours either side of Coffs Harbour. There are about 12 between Sydney and Brisbane so its very easy to get done.

Ryan I don't think you understand the dangers of flash flooding.
You drove through 2 days after the floods last time, Duy intends to drive through the area when the storms are still nearby and in the middle of the night. This is an extremely dangerous thing to do, this is how people end up dead.
Also the highway was completely closed for over a day, it is certainly not raised and certainly not flood proof.
