how cosmetic companies measure 43% less wrinkles or 61% fatter eyelashes for example. Am I missing something here?

Come up with something original Christian. I've been told that, too many times.
I do a lot of time on my hands and not enough to do. I sit in front of the computer and play cards and look for porn.
I wander about the house looking for something to do. I check my emails ( almost none from friends ) every five minutes. I can't wait to eat to give me something to do.
I keep checking the events listings for Queensland so as there is something in my future and I really thank you for your response as you have added so much joy to my day.

I paint a grim picture, but it really isn't that bad. She isn't bed bound or anything like that but she does have arthritis which she has had since I married her (aged 21). Of course this disease doesn't get better with age and her pain level some days is substantial.
Just 8 years ago the government offered to put both of us on support benefits as Sandy met the criteria (points system) for assistance.
But I do fill in my time by renovating houses whilst living in them and selling usually at a handsome profit to subsidise our income.
I have been married for 43 years and most of the time I'm happy to be where I am. There are times though, that a bloke needs to get away (government allows me to take some time out) and I go, usually somewhere in Asia (I have travelled in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Bali and intend going somewhere to see an active volcano in the not too distant future).
I do hang out for a fast drive from time to time as Sandy quickly tires of my 'spirited' driving style, hence my comment about waiting for an event to attend.
I was feeling a little depressed today and it probably came out in my jottings. Yesterday I went to try out for a blues band (I play blues harmonica and do a little singing) and I came home thinking of all the months of work ahead before gigging again and wondered if it was all worth it. I've been in a number of successful bands and they're always hard work. Maybe it's time to quit, get out of black and start wearing beige and playing bowls .

Good show Mike. I'm at the other end of the scale. Too much work and not enough time to scratch my arse. Got like 4 project cars lined up out there to put back together. Probably won't ever get to most of em and that makes me sad :-( Ever thought about getting an old bomb car or bike to put back together? Lots of new skills to learn and it soaks up plenty of time.
