Yeah I was going to buy one of them but it's my first time drifting with an RC drift car and I've heard it's hard to get it right so for a beginner it would be best with electric.. Also the same guy that sells that one Scott is selling the same but electric too,Bit dearer then the one I bought of ebay... $270 to my door with a larger second battery...

Hahaha mate! I'm learning... It's not as easy as it looks.... hahaha found the gutter a few times.. drifting out too far hahahaha but having fun,34 years old and playing with a rc car hahahaha .... good quality drift car for the price.... just need to buy more battery's as they don't last long.... and the charger you get takes 8hours to charge... too long so I bought a charger that charges within an hour....

Hmm, guess I need to dust of mine and take some pics of that then? I might fiiiiinally get around to re building the motor over the xmas break, then tune it to run 30% nitro
I also need to adjust my shift points, as it is going into top gear way to early and do yet another wheel alignment to suit the new tyres as after much trial and error, I have found a set of tyres I'm happy with.
Yes, these things have MANY adjustment points, more so than the real thing!

You'd be suprised, the electric ones can really get up and boogie quite well with some cheap mods! Not to mention I can't drive to save myself unless I'm on full slicks so I'll put some normal tyres on and it should be quite fair
Not to mention I was only after a bit of fun, not a full on competition! lol

After seeing the Drifting RC Soarer, I had to Fish out the Old Tamiya RC Corvette. I went up to the hobby shop and bought some drift tyres ($30.00). And drifts really well, not as controlled as the guy in the clip but it is quite easy.

Yeah but mines only battery You'd kill me !!
My mate has an electric brushless motor in his and it would smoke any gas engine lol he drags real cars with it! insane and extremely difficult to drive haha. I bought one of the HPi E10's to drift it cost sweet fa (bout $210) and it's an awesome little drifter highly recommended.
