Nothing to do with a Soarer - but it is a toyota (hilux)! As the title asks has anyone any experience in what to use on a badly marked/dented utility tray? I intend to clean it up and apply liberal amounts of rust converter but what paint or coating would give it the most chance of lasting another ten years?

I've only heard good things about these guys: http://www.rhinolinings.com.au/ I think about $700 for a ute tray, although it might be more if there is already rust.

Prepsol the out of it. Then buy a few cans of stoneguard. They come with a spray gun attachment (gun included). Mask up, then shoot the stoneguard. Pretty good stuff. Just dont spill thinners or methanol on it.

Like Aaron said, spirit based stone guard. Runs about $30 a litre down the auto paint shop and you can shoot it or brush it on. Or they have 2 pack products for about double the price. I believe this stuff is available on ebay too.
