Yeah i know... Solicitor I work with says I will win its just weather he has money & a job by then or not and it will be about 3-5g out of pocket to me that just gets added to his amount.

It's a tough call. But I can't just let him get away with it.

Ben, you seem to be able to dish it out to 'bored out pensioner' but have a little trouble taking something which is not even specific to you.
What's going on here? Would a bit of counseling help?

LOL... you took something I said, quoted it and made a response and due to the lack of being able to add sarcasm/tone to text I took it as you giving me for that I apologise cause I didn't realise that until your follow up response.

Peter Nitcshke wrote on Friday, November 13, 2009 - 07:16 am:

It doesn't automatically apply to everyone though.

I haven't ever lost my license, but I appreciate it enough to not want to lose it. It doesn't take much imagination to realise what a disruption it would be to not be able to drive.

True to a degree but it boils down to the saying that "you dont know what you have until it's gone" sure the thought of it would be daunting but it's not until it actually happens that the reality of it sets in and hits home.

David Vaughan wrote on Friday, November 13, 2009 - 07:23 am:

Ben, Jol, perhaps other people do not need to go through crashing, losing their licence and the like to become "better drivers" because they understood the significance of these already? That would mean they were already better drivers than you, and you were catching up.

Multiple or significant offences which cause one to lose a licence, or major crashes, are indicators of failure. The lessons from them can be salutary but not always so, or there would be no repeat offenders.

Perhaps being gaoled for assault is the only way one can learn respect for other people. Come to think of it, I may have missed my chance to embezzle a few million so that I understand finance better. The examples are endless.

P.S. I understand very well what you are trying to say. I think you are not correct though.

I'm not trying to imply i'm "correct" in any way shape or form because the whole thing really is a subjective matter of opinion.

Truth is, before I had a crash and lost my license I was an absolute tool of a driver, typical teenager with a nice car, sped all the time, sideways around corners etc etc now that i've had a couple of crashes, lost my license and have learnt some important lessons I personally feel as a car enthusiast that i'm a better driver. But we can just be fair to say lets agree to disagree ?? :-)

If you were to pursue it and he doesn't have a job the courts will order him to pay something dismal like $10 a week until it's paid off... sick really but it's how our feeble justice system works. Is it really worth the hassle ?? :-( I agree with you, sit on it and wait for the right time for your revenge :-)

I'm with Ben an Jol here... I have only had one accident - Not my fault someone pulled out in front of me and I T-boned them.

I AM a good driver - I race karts so i have a lot of experience in car control etc. I am also a conservative driver. I rarely speed, have only street drifted once, generally obey all traffic rules and have never lost my licence and only lost points for not displaying "p" plates.

However after having my accident this year. I am far more alert to other drivers than ever before, I keep substantially bigger gaps 4 seconds or so. Having my accident has made me a better driver no doubt, I don't think you can understand that unless you have been in one yourself.

Ok we are kind of getting a bit

shall we get back to the discussion of women?

To be honest I dont like em too much, they bitch and whine like an old excel.

I work with 5 surrounding me and it drives me insane. I only have 2 true girlfriends and that;s about my extent to female friends. all others are guys. I just feel like screaming out Shut the F up and get OVER it. they can go on and on.... oh hang on. Dammit... As much as I love being a woman I hate the emotional crap that goes with it. The crying and the mothering... I just cant help it.

Course not. there is way too much lying and too many games being played because majority of people in general are selfish and greedy, they do what they can to get what they want.

For instance men saying they love a girl to get laid...I mean I have been called a mission before, that guys would date me for so long until I put out and they would feel great cause they "conquered" me. Though most gave up and got upset with me cause I didn't.

I have lost alot of friends too because they wanted more from me then I wanted to give. Because when I told them that I wasnt after a relationship just a mateship they said yeah them too, then after a while they get the cranks and yell at me and say dont ever call them again. I'm left going What THE?

I'm sure that guys have the same problems with girls or same sex couples whatever.

It's all mind games. People are afraid of being honest because they are scared of other losing someone or gaining someone they dont want long term. Therefore afraid of being themselves. Which comes out in the long run anyway.

Its a dog eat dog world... Respect has long gone (Understand I am generalising of course)

Nina, sounds like your playing the field quite nicely. The rule with men is we want what he can;t have. And womens want what they think they can change .. if either occur then the jig is up :-)

Well, I kinda agree with Jol, I've pretty much ended up sleeping with all my female friends eventually, and only occasionally managed to stay friends afterwards.

Of course thats how I ended up with my wife too, we were friends for about a year, then friends with benefits, and finally official a few months after that, and I have to say its pretty fantastic being married to your best friend.

Who knows.

This thread has been an interesting one to say the least.

I got stuck in an office with 5 women and it was hell on earth. 1st of all being stuck in an office is not my type of job. 2nd having to put up with women who complain about everything is also something im not used to.

It was the longest 2 weeks of my life. I hate working with women.

My ideal woman would probably be Asian, have a petite form (as most Asian women have), and to move with grace. She would be able to engage in intelligent conversation, would be of a strong personality and be able to give as much as she could take. She would not need to be competitive but to have her passions. Musically inclined and quick witted would certainly be attributes.
Not to care too much for trinkets or self adornment and to have a balanced ego. An appreciation of quality as opposed to quantity and of course a love of Soarers.
It's doubtful this person ever existed so I live with a woman who could not love me more and is certainly tolerant as I have done some bad stuff and she's still with me. I feel most women would have given me the flick long ago.
Yes, I do have women 'friends' and there is no suggestion of sex. I like the feeling of being trusted in any given situation. It disturbs me when I read some of this banter on here as to how people don't seem to care about another's feelings. There are numerous personal attacks and put downs.
What's going on people?

Matt Sartori your a . AT your age i was scratching myself and bumping into this .. just like you :-) You'd do well to head all the advice her.

My advice on women.

1) Single Men and Single women can't be friends, you can try, just don't suprised when you it up (or she does)

2) Always partner with a women who is not as good looking as you or as smart as you.

3) A women will end up looking like her mother.

4) Don't force her into your hobbies and she won't force you into her (stupid arse boring hobbies)

5) It is fine to look at other women, it's very natural, just don't act and don't let her see you.

6) Give her money.. and she won't take yours.

7) Don't spend every waking moment together

8) Your woman is your best mate, don't let her forget that
