I thought the s2000 wasn't P plate legal due to the power to weight ratio...
I could be wrong.
I love how s2000's look. I went for a spin in one the other week and was really surprised at how much juice they have.

Rear plastic window is only models of 2001 and before. If I could, I'd get the 2002 model because it has the better looking red trim, front tweeters and rear lights. The newest models looks pretty crap lol |

RX8's are p plate friendly from memory, the NSX is a supercar and that isn't allowed for p platers.
You are correct in terms of power over weight ratio its something like 100 and something kws per tonne.
I drove around in the old Daimler 5.3 V12 and never got pulled over, mind you that is 2 tonnes of steels! |

pfft like anyone pays attention to them restrictions here
i've seen p drivers in ferraris (late models several times)
porsche, not just boxters
and not to mention the numerous VLt's i rember there was one kid driving a 700hp atw VL and hence the reason for the laws he's dead roof first into a pole street racing
the whole system it still stupid, cant drive a slow old predictable V8 soarer, but you can drive many cars that fly under the radar that arent suitable imho... |

Very true Andrew. The new Golf and Polo that comes out with a 1.4lt turbo is not P plate legal dispite being very low power efficency based engine.
The old system had some merit with restriction on power vs weight and displacement vs weight but the new system has very little to zero merit. |
