Ew, thats really bad taste, the awful chromies, the tacky window sticker, the stretched rubber, the americano grill, the fluffy animals in the windows... think I'll go puke now.
I do like Aurions though, mate of mine has a Sportivo in electric blue as a company car lucky bastard. He gets unlimited personal K's too, petrol and everything.

I just stepped out of my Soarer into a 2005 Honda Accord Euro Luxury and love it. Not as big as an Aurion but still heaps of rear legroom. The Luxury has all the extras similar to the Limited Soarer with heated leather seats etc, but no EMV, but does have dual control air cond in the front and Vehicle Stability Control and an in dash 6 cd stacker, and rain sensing wipers, and 17" mags, 5 speed auto with manual tiptronic mode, and self levelling HIDs with washers so the equipment level is high. You can pick these up for around $20k. Pretty quick 2.4 litre as well (most poweful in it's class against the Lexus IS250 and Mazda 6) There is one on eBay at present - pearl white, 65,000 kms, auto, 2 days to go with bidding at $15k. Person needs urgent sale and paid $24K for it 7 months ago

Funny when i went to pick up the soarer, i drove down in a honda accord euro 2008 model. I was actually thinking that was a huge mistake because i'd just be disapointed by less comfortable non leather seats, less climate control, less nice dash surrounds and softer suspension.
When i got in the soarer and started driving it, i was incredibly pleasantly surprised!
That said i still get to drive that honda now and again and its still a very good car. I drove it and 3 friends to Caloundra in it and it is perfect for those kinds of highway trips, while being very easy to drive in the city. In fact for city driving, losing the huge soarer nose is actually kind of nice when trying to park
Ok I've got a few cars lined up to have a look at... hopefully will have something soon! Soarers suck at being a family car. I'm leaning towards a GS300, it looks to be the one I'll be most happy with.
Oh and here she is, born on the 22nd and weighing in at 3.1kg (first day back at home in the pic).

Congrats on the new rug rat Jose. Many fun times ahead for you (I've got a 4 month old).
As for the car conundrum, I'm going through a similar thing myself. Although I'm more partial to an SUV than a wagon but I thought I'd put my 2c's worth in. The Honda Accord Euro that was mentioned would be a good option (and has actually got me thinking away from the SUV/4WD option). However, take a look at the Volkswagen Toureg. You can pick up an 04/05 model for around the $30k mark and they are a very good vehicle. Reliable as hell, excellent build quality and good luxury features etc. The only issue you need to watch with them is the brake rotors tend to wear quickly but I believe this can be sorted by fitting aftermarket rotors. My mechanic is a Euro car specialist, Audi, VW, Porsche, BMW, Benz etc and highly recommends the VW.
It looks like I'll be going for a GS300 outta the list, it ticks most of the boxes and I'm partial to Toyotas lol. The VW would be nice though, if I had the money for something like an Audi Q7 it'd be a whole different list of vehicles I'd be looking at.

Jose, quite honestly anything outside Jap cars you're going to be paying big money for parts and break downs. I highly recommend buying this book called "The Dog & Lemon guide".
I like Euro cars but it's just not worth the trouble considering a lot of my mates have had a host of Mercs, BMW's and Alfa's. And quite honestly I'm going to go Jap all the way. I'm thinking of getting an IS200 in the near future 4/5 stars for reliability. To me its all about reliablity so you save money on better things especially for your child
