There is a tattoo parlor locally where I live that does those kind of tattoo's .. but I haven't heard anything good about them. Just out of curiosity, why do you want one of those??

It's not for me!
At first I didn't hear very good things about it either and I tried to talk my friend out of it, but he found some rather interesting websites that proved me wrong (which I don't have the links to atm) but yeah, it's not as bad as it sounds.

I just got this one done on friday so looks like a scar, but after about 6 to 8 weeks it pretty much disaperes and only shows up under a UV light. This stuff has been around for over 10 years just not heard of in Australia till recently, its been used in America for quiet some time and the people I bought this ink through say that its safe if not safer than regular tattoo ink. Only downside is it takes longer to work with because its a thinner type of ink, but it is pretty cool, I got a bit more of that on a koi up on my arm and the other tattoo artist that works at the place I go to got a deamon on his hand and is now not visible unless under the UV light. So do expect to pay a bit more than a regular tattoo, there are also colors that are UV reactive but they can be seen in normal light, its only the "white" UV ink that isnt visible with the naked eye under regular light onces its fully setaled and healed. Hope this helps some one and if your tattoo artists has no clue or is to scared to use this stuff do what I did orderd it online and took it to them and said DO IT!

Anthony, that is so freaking cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways, I asked the tattoo question on behalf of my friend, so I'll see if he wants to road trip it to Syd just to get a UV tattoo! LOL But omg, it looks awesome :D
P.S. did you just ask around tattoo parlours to see who did it? How did you find out who does it?

Lisa I bought the Ink myself and took it to my artist, since ive been going there for a few years, and hes heard of it and all and knows a regular that got a small one done so I looked into it and got the ink over from America and he was happy to do it for me, also gave him some experience with the ink and an opportunity to start using it at the shop he works at.
