was pretty warm up here as well... humid to go with it... ended up working on the car half the day in it, then playing asketball all afternoon before finishing off on the car. Personally, I sweat more than Dennis Ferguson at a Wiggles concert... but it was worth it

No aircon, just a milder climate and an old house that gets lots of airflow with the windows open. :-) Of course we have to put up with crappy cold winters, so I guess it evens out.

same as everything I dont have Anika. It is a luxury. If I had everything I wanted, I would be living life through one eye... Not saying that is a bad thing. *Hoping I did not offend anyone* But for me, I like living life with discomfort and stress. It helps me to remember, that I am happy to be alive. Which is also why I love the people living in developing countries. I am a weirdo lol.

LOL.. I just remembered something funny. After me knee recon the other year I got shifted from manufacturing to office where I work (I work in the pool & spa industry) I had this woman on the phone who couldn't decide whether she wanted solar heating or air con... Now, i've never had house air con in my life and have learnt to deal with it but the way this woman was carrying on, referring to her children as her "babies" was hysterical. Saying "No.. No... No... I DEFINATLY need Aircon... If I don't have aircon this summer my babies will die !!!!" I couldn't contain myself... I lost it laughing and she hung up on me.

A true story about when we first moved to Aus. We got here at around 8 in the evening on a record hot night in our nice warm kiwi clothes and the first thing that surprised us was that you had to walk across the tarmac like you were in some poorass country lol. Even the Auckland airport was more hi-tech. As we walked down the stairs I commented to Dad, "holy hill bro, those ingines sure put out some heat eh. This is not choice". We kinda ourselves when we were about 50 mtrs from the plane and the heat hadn't changed one bit haha. I remember thinking it was like someone had draped a hot towel over us. We were in the pool until about 1am wondering why people bloody lived here haha.

Ryan, now you write the rest of the movie and I'll go ya halves in the profit Dave, I came over with my parents at about 16 so had settled in quite well before I had thoughts of moving out and establishing my own life. I loved it where I lived in NZ. I used to bike, sail and fish and tear arse round our farm. I had a great life there and was sad to leave. But each time I went back my friends had moved away to different parts of the country/world/jails and there was less practical reasons to go back at great expense. I would have had to start over there too with friends etc and I'd already established that here by then. I do like it here though as I found things I enjoy. The heat sh!ts me to tears and I am getting more and more pissed off at the choke-hold everyone is starting to put on my freedoms in the name of covering their arses legally or for plain old revenue raising. That's getting tiresome IMO.
