I hate religion especially after growing up with it however !!!!!!!!
1. We rent our unit to muslim students (and so far have not been blown up)
2. Have semi regular friday night drinks and nibbles at our place with the neighbors who include a very strict mormon couple a ex pentacostal minister and his family a out there aithiest, us and another gay couple and a assortment of others that come and go and so far we have not killed each other
3. A guy I think of as almost a second dad is a semi retired priest and some of our religous discussions are epic usually over a bottle of jack daniels.
and on the flip side of the coin
4. I have a nephew I have never seen 2 neices I rarely see and a brother I have not spoken to in 5 years thanks to a religous nut cake sister inlaw who would like to see us burned at the stake thanks to the ramblings of her idiot church
In short regardless of gender, beliefs or orientation there is always some one out there that is going to have the knives out for someone else

Wow dude. I shoulda checked this earlier.
When I said I was sort of a chaplain, I meant I'm part of the Red Frog Crew that does Hotel Chaplaincy at schoolies and saves kids PHYSICAL lives every year from suicide, overdoses etc. etc. among other things like giving them support. As much as you might disagree with it we do more for people than you do.
Yes I am a christian, I go to harvest point Christian Outreach Centre in Beaudesert where I live. I am the Youth Pastor there. I'm also one of the worship leaders there and I love Jesus Christ with all my heart. This is something you cannot argue with.
I never knew about Godspeed car club until the other day when some dudes put the card on my window at a christian event, in which i joined the forums and talked to some fellow christians who enjoy working on/driving cars like myself.
Far out if you need a character reference talk to Rich O'neil. We have been good mates for years and he's an agnostic, and you can ask him how 'evengelical' I have been.
But hey, I'm not here to defend my character or my post, because like tim said, we may as well made this Boostsoaring.
You people who took offense to it obviously have more of an axe to grind of pushing your atheism onto other religions. Everyone can see you're arrogant in your own opinions, and as stated in my first reply no one is forcing you to join, and it's just an option because i'm sure there are other christians like myself on this forum.

Christians are very well known for pushing their •••• onto others. I get the local christian cult flyer in my mailbox couple times a week. I'd prefer a hungry jacks voucher book.

Im so sick of barely being able to sneeze without being blessed!
