Nice driving! It looks as though that must be pretty common over there seeing as most cars moved out of his way to let him pass. Haha he was even indicating every turn. I wish people were as curteous over here.

I've got nothing against what a lot of people do in Europe - stay in the fast lane and drive right up idiots' asses until they gtfo of the fast lane into the slower lanes. But weaving in and out of the slow lanes is stupid.

I doubt it was sped up much at all, rather than being edited. There are plenty of fadeouts even in the early part and he shows none of the passages where roads would have been fairly clear.
I watched only the early part but noted even then he was nearly off the road on the right on one of his grand swerves, just keeping it on the bitumen verge.

How can you enjoy it when you just KNOW he is driving like this when there are people around him with little kids, families - mothers and fathers who's children are depending on them to make it home? He's just a Where are the cops?

wow, what a tool. I love how he claims the guy infront is an idiot doing a small brake check when the guy is right up his arse. Arrogance of some people.

Because the guy is halfway across the world? I enjoy it because its entertaining. Thousands of kids die across the world every year.. whats 2 or 3 more?

I think it is heavily edited (check the fadeouts). If it has also been sped up then there is no external reference to tell us by how much unless a speedo turns up in shot somewhere.

Do you think he actually uses his indicators when he is on the road, or are the sounds just there so imply some kind of reference to it being at 'normal' speed?
Maybe its a police car? Might explain why so many people are willing to get out of his way? I know they do this alot in Europe as a means of courtesy but..

what a dick head. 1. he cant drive for crap. his video is full of oversteering and bad decisions. 2. other people going about their daily business should not have to indulge people who think that their life is a computer game.

If you want something to cry over, check out getaway in stockholm
Please, Getaway is more staged than professional wrestling! Note the empty streets and mounted camera pans... Totally different than trying to kill other motorists.
As for your comments on people you don't know dying - you have no empathy with humanity, fair enough, good luck with having a happy and fulfilling life.

So they have a set/designated route beforehand?
And they do it at 4-5am in the morning, of course theres not going to be many cars on the road at that time of morning. And you can clearly see there ARE cars on the road.
And i seriously doubt the council of stockholm would let a bunch of people run a riot through there streets in the early morning just to make a movie that only a small percentage of people enjoy.

Considering how screwed you are if you do anything illegal on the roads in Sweden and how easy it would be to track these people down, I would imagine they obtained permits for road closure for filming purposes, like any staged production such as a movie or television series would, which again explains why it was done so early in the morning or late at night.
Well, wait until you are a bit older and you've lost a few family members... you might feel differently then (or maybe not?)

Of course i'm going to feel down if someone i'm close to dies.
But why should i get upset or have any sort of negative feeling over someone who didn't touch my life in any way? People die every day. You want me to be constantly depressed because of this?

Matt i think the point was not that you might feel depressed about people you do not know dying but rather 'feel' empathy for others. Saying 'oh well people die all the time and I dont care because I dont know them and they are a long way away is one thing (although questionable); its very different to saying that it is ok for other people to be put at risk of dying due to some selfish and pointless act like driving like a knuckle head.

The thing is, for the philosophically inept, is that it was the person in the video that was 'ranting' about it by putting it on youtube. getting off on extreme acts of stupidity is akin to being just as stupid?
