Hi guys and gals!
First post for a while, sorry! lol.....
Well I've kinda jumped ship.
I have been seriously contemplating the supercharger path for my car, but, after doing the sums...... SC, suspension, extractors, brakes etc etc.......
I have gone and bought a 93 rz supra!!!!! wooow hoooooo! now I'm the rockin pussy cat!
you guys may have seen what I bought......
The red supra on ebay that was adv... 12500!...
It's been a drivers car thats for sure but thats what I'm after.. everything mechanically seems good so far and the 6 speed is just sex!
So I think it's a good buy.
I've still got the v8, and will pull out the
Emanage / blue and throw it up here if any of you V8 peeps want a bit more go power and a bit better fuel economy....
It was installed and set up by Cihan so has been a fantastic improvement to the car.... ( P.s Cihan, I will send the data from my car, I've just gotta rebuild my laptop! Really sorry, I forgot about it... )
I'll put up some pics soon ( only picked it up today).....
Cheers guys... now you will definatley see me at the Island!!! going to Bryant Park next weekend!!!! he heee!!!!! gonna be so much fun! |

I have actually now sold the 31 
kinda traded it to the owner of the supra....
I loaned it to him so I could take the supra and he just can't believe the note out back He HEEE!
Plus who doesn't fall in love with them after a drive!
So, sorry Ali the blue stays in the car...
I am kinda sad now! lol Will definitely miss the quiet interior I had forgotten what road noise was!...... and theres a few more rattles in the supra lol.....
But still no substitute for the sheer power! woot!
or should that be woosh!
PS thankyou to who ever corrected my mistake with Cihan's name I'm sorry bout that! lol rushes to bury head in bucket of sand whilst vigorously beating one's self over the back of the head with a bat!...... |

yeah ive found the supra's are alot more rattly. one main thing is the rubbers for the rear hatch. replace these and most of the time fixes that annoying rattle they get in the rear.
my sis has a jza80 too and her boyfriend was jealous cause his s15 type r was having trouble keeping up with the non turbo supra lol

$13,500 for a Turbo Supra, I don't even see SZ's going for that much. That's a bargain. |

Hey all, I have been in Melbourne for the past few days. I have the Supra at Pro-Tek, Thornbury, they are fitting a custom 3" system, bar'n'plate fmic, pod, apexi boost controller, and tune etc!
Then RWC...
Well hopefully they do that first 
The original owner of the car has been just absolutely incredible, definitely one of the best peeps I have met... he has put up with me for 3 days! we have done a bit of chasing around for the Soarer too.
I should have pics soon!
Apparently the first dyno run (today), with a default map in the ems and totally standard everything else she got 189kw lol...... who ever fitted the ems didn't tune it they loaded a base map,  . any way all should be smokin soon.. 
@boris, Yes I think I was very lucky and it was only $12,500

Thanks Aaron, I was going to change the front. George (the orig owner) makes custom front Bars etc and they are very! nice, Really accentuate the car.
So i think I will go for one of those soon..
I might also try and get the bonnet that he does too....
But thankyou for letting me know! |

So far I have repainted the wiper arms, middle console plastic ( bit with the ashtray!). I bought the gas strut kit for the bonnet, makes a huge difference but was wondering about the extra weight placed on the hinges. I guess they'll be ok. Not having the bonnet brace is heaven, I thought it odd that a car like this would have a 1970's brace! lol.
I had an over boost problem but my local mechanic found it in 2 seconds and didn't charge me!
Great guy's. I'm now overhauling the starter, and have a new shift boot and handbrake cover coming.
I have a few more things I need to save for, then I should be ready for the track!
Hopefully some one from here is going to the next PI track weekend... |

paul sorry bout late reply i had a close look at the bars and they are stuffed. she hit a gutter pretty bad a few weeks ago apparently and the sideskirts seem to be siliconed on lol so best bet they will crack when separating lol |

Nice cars Supras, I spent alot of time in one during 2008 whilst my brother was overseas. She was an SZ 96 model and bog stock pulled 135.6rwkw with stock standard exhaust.
If I were to get one now, it would have to be a late model tt with big brakes and it'd be nice to have recaros. Would make the ideal weekend car with the soarer as the daily |
