| Funnily enough some people spend $1000's on engine mods and don't get any form of security, not even an immobilizer. |

Do you actually think it makes any difference to your car being stolen. Keep in mind you can bypass an immobiliser in about 30 seconds. |

| Tough situation, most insurance companies now require them so if you don't have one you are not covered. But they are not really effective so having one doesn't make your car safe from a pro. GPS tracking system plus immobiliser and alarm is probably the best you can reasonably do. |

I have several of something similar, but unfortunatley this is not the answer. I have been thinking more a long the lines of a Snitch system. |

| An immobiliser will stop most joyriders and 'spur of the moment' car thefts. Little will stop a pro. An alarm with a 200 dB siren INSIDE the cabin will work wonders. |

| Immobilisers and club locks won't stop a tilt tray, gps tracking is the best thing and its getting more affordable all the time. |

Yep, Snitch System. Real time tracking on your PC. Depending on what monitoring you pay for they will text or call you when your vehicle is on the move. Cheapest monitoring here in NZ was $20 + gst a month, I was going to do this for my work ute. |
