| Sorry Brett I used to work with a bloke who had a dyno, so we did a lot of weber stuff. Speedway cars were popular. And later he started playing with turbos. I forgot to mention the 1980 Z28 Camaro I had, the 1964 Chev, Datsun 200SX, 1966 F100 6cyl, Series 3 Landrover with 253 V8 and Nissan MQ gearbox/transfer case. I could be here all night |

| The 1st turbo job he did was on his workshop HQ van. Turbod the 173It would struggle away from the lights, then just when you thought that was it, all hell broke loose At least his 2nd attempt was better(LH Torana 202) |

| must be something with old hq vans the bloke I worked for had a $300 hq van still with its bench seat and 4 wheel drum brakes with a 202 blue motor and turbo bolted to the old aussie 3 speed. Get that old bucket into second gear and you could out run almost anything back in the day |

| 126 series S class. The benchmark for German luxury. So many cues taken from it to make the Celsior, very freaky.

Best car I've had, just too bad it couldn't run as good as a Soarer or Celsior! Would beat the life out of them in the bends and straight line however, 180bhp per tonne stock! |

I hope a particular kiwi member posts a shot of his black 560SEL , its a prime example of how it should be done, and I would have loved to have bought it from him! Is that an E34 M5 Mike? Killer!! |

Oh yeah, was a superb car from the odd picture we saw last time. More Matt!

Haha, I wish, just a mere 540i, but a taste of how good they can be, I would still have it but It needed a complete suspension overhaul so I sold it. Personally I think one of the best BMW combos ever if you had the time and cash would be an E34 93-95 with a E39 M5 V8 fitted, it has been done in the past from examples I've seen on the net. |

| Yeah, I still remember how sad I was when it was smashed by that idiot. That was in my Dads back yard in Turangi. Front bar was a bit rough and it had that nasty crease in front of the left wheel, steering wheel needed re-trimming - but otherwise it was OK condition. Engine was a stonker, just pulled and pulled all the way to the redline. Got paid out $9,500 and sold the MAK alloys (which amazingly survived the accident) for $700, even though one of them was heavily scuffed from the front of the stop sign runners hitting it. |

| Some of my old cars, a very eclectic mix... '86 Mazda 626 Turbo Coupe, was still a project at this stage.
My old very very clean '92 UZZ31 from 2005. I miss it.
Some interior pics -
'87 Daimler 3.6 One of my favourite cars I've owned.

| '85 Mazda 323 Sleeper. Jap spec E5T engine from a Familia Turbo from an Mitsu Evo. MTX 8 Computer. Coil Packs, etc TX3 Turbo brakes. Custom shortened Pedders struts. Looks rubbish. Very, very fast. and fun.
1990 Alfa 33 1.7 IE
I think that'll do, can't be bothered reducing photo sizes anymore! I've also had an RB Gemini (yuk), '88 Aus delivered Supra, Early 205 GTI, '90 Mercedes E230, '86 Daihatsu Charade Turbo. Maybe some I've forgotten. |

| Well, actually the Alfa is the only car I ever owned where the engine seized! This was because the sump was not sufficiently baffled from factory, so under hard acceleration the oil pickup was starved of oil. In Italy where the car was used as a police car, the only modification fitted was an alternative sump! But it was beautiful to drive, and made all the right engine sounds. |
