G'day all,
I am looking for recommendations for a freight company to pick my roll cage up from Sydney and move it to Darwin.
The cage is in a 'kit' form with the main 50mm hoop being 1400 x 900mm when laid on the floor. The rest of the pieces are smaller than this. The total kit weight would be around the 60kg mark.
If anyone works for a freight company, or can recommend one who can get this up to Darwin I'd be happy to hear from you. Otherwise I'll just be looking through the phone book for national companies. Obviously in keeping with my race cars philosophy, the cheaper the better.

NQX was one I was considering if I got no replies, as is TNT/TOLL etc.
I have heard lots of bad reports about Hunter Express over the last 12 months and was not considering them at all.
I'm expecting to pay $200-$300 to get the cage up there, and am happy for it to go to the depot in Darwin, but I'm not sure how much the fabricator wants to do at the southern end (he has a business to run and can't be chasing around for me too much) and might need a pick up at that end.

Thanks, Chris. I'll have a look.
My problem is I am currently not in Darwin, or Sydney, and somehow need to print out the consignment note and fix it to the pallet. The chick at Transdirect said it simply isn't possible for them to print it out and stick it to the pallet when they pick it up. Go figure?
