My partner and I wanted to buy an sports exhaust for one of my sisters christmas gift, she has a Seat Cordobah, 1994/95 if im not mistaken. Its a little spanish car. Is there a particular brand or anything? Or would i need to get a custom exhaust made? Best to visit an exhaust shop? Anyone know if another cars will fit onto her car?

I don't mean to be inflammatory, though I probably am.. but what's the point? I doubt it would make it faster, just louder. Can I suggest something else like a better stereo, or GPS, or central locking or cruise control if it doesn't have them....?

Just a suggestion.

She dosnt want it to be faster, she likes her engine note, and wants it to be louder. She just purchased a sound system, has a gps and the car has central locking.

Book it in to a local exhaust shop. A good one will have a few suggestions, but replacing the last muffler with a straight through might be a simple option.

Well as long as it's legal I have no complaints. Just find it odd that people would specifically want a louder 4 banger. Muffler replacement should do. Please keep the neighbours in mind :-)

Hi,

I agree with Miles.

But if she likes the exhaust note, there is no point spending money on a complete system, just remove one of the mufflers and it will bring out a louder possibly deeper note, cost - $30-$50 at local exhaust shop compared to $500 or so for an exhaust system.

Thanks Boris, she dosnt want it to be too loud, not annoying the neighbours loud. Taking it to an exhaust shop is a good idea, theres on Taylor made exhausts that put a straight through pipe on on my boyfriends car
