Ok well I used to be a sneaker collector and had a vast collection of Nikes. There's a store over here in Melb that does shoe consignments, "The Heist". I took in about 15 pairs of shoes at about Sept last year and had 4 pairs sold, which is roughly $900 in my pocket. They say they do stock take every month in which you will be paid what has been sold. End of Sept i rang up, they told me its the 15th of each month they do the stock take, so I rang up 20th of Nov. I was told by another person it is actually the end of the month the stock take. So I rang up a few days into Dec. and they told me they would be moving stores so I had to come and collect what had not been sold. When I collected my gear, they said that I would need to come in a few weeks into Jan. once the new store had settled and they would be able to organise a payment. I rang up and they said they were busy but to email them with my bank details and what had been sold etc. I did this but got no response. So for the next few months up until now I am still without a payment and no reply from The Heist. I have rang countless times to which I would get told "Caine" the manager is not available or "please email us and we will get back to you" with no response. I don't know what to do in order to get my money and I'm not sure if I will ever get it to be honest. Should I get legals involved? Would it cost much money to do so? I have come to a time when I am in need of money and I need some advice on how to get me my money. Thanks

thats exactly the type of shop i would not enter, but im sure they have enough dough to pay you your due. I dunno, there should be some kinda community legal resource centre available for you to consult.Alternatively contact the victorian equivalent of the office of fair trading, or offer to send letters describing their business practices to their affiliates listed on their website, or perhaps set up a website describing their practices and submit this site to as many search engines as possible, saying nothing defamatory - only the facts..or threaten to stand outside their shop for a week with a placard, then do it.
or firebomb the shop. looks like the place deserves it anyway.

umm i see warren. it seems caine is the man...except as indicated by the very fact that his name is 'caine' he is obviously a f@#$knuckle. But even the biggest d!ckwads would be able to write you a cheque within 6 months - if so inclined. I therefore suggest you take action. Btw the police only deal with matters of criminality and keep the peace and so on they dont deal in civil or commercial disputes. Once you get your money vow to never again get involved with a subculture of illiterates who collect overpriced cheaply manufactured sports wear.
Any Contract, Receipt, Sales records, emails, phone statements, communications recorded that you have had with the company will work in your favor.
When you're at the shop next time and its during trading hours, I'll put on my legal hat and give them a stern call for you. Citing a few passages from the trade practices act and saying that you are a lawyer always makes people bricks. Rules are the rules and the law is there to be administered. They have stolen your shoes and your monies and you need to claim back the $900 dollars + interest and fees (say $1100 total) or the shoes back.

How did you manage to find a forum with that many f#cking gooses on it? I bet it would be different if it was their money. Even the moderator wanted to delete the post cos it might upset his mate. What a bunch of wankers and a complete waste of cyberspace.
