My better half was visiting her parents yesterday and parked her one year old Fiesta Zetec off the road on the grass. Some a****hole somehow managed to come round the corner, leave the road, hit her car and then piss off without stopping. Fortunately someone took his numberplate so the police are following up. Some people should be strangled at birth!!!!

Nasty! I wonder what a new bumper cover costs for one of those? Saw an article the other day about insurance premiums that mentioned that the cost of a new front bumber on a Suzuki Swift is nearly 1/3 the cost of a whole new car!

Good to hear you had enough info for a good Police report. I have submitted a couple of hit and run reports to the Police over the years. Each time it took them several weeks to follow up with me but each time they came back with a ban-hammer big enough to make Thor proud.
Their system is probably clogged up with dicks like me filing reports =)
