Went and saw this yesterday and honestly thought it was just as good, if not better than the first... the only thing that ruined it was the group of teenagers that could not stop giggling, talking or yelling out "BANG" at random parts of the movie then laughing about it...
But anyways, it was great, it took a while for stuff to start happening but when it did they definitely lifted the intensity without going overboard and the ending.... holy •••••••• took me by surprise as I thought the night when things went haywire was going to be the end.
Most people I talk to about it either love it or hate it but it's good to see such low budget films do good and actually gather a cult following so to speak.
I think their might be a 3rd considering nothing happened to the daughter but I just hope they don't go overboard and lose the plot and bring out sequel after sequel that just loses it's substance.... like the Saw series.... sorry, but the first 2 were good then they just lost the plot.

I wanted to go see it, i will soon. I watched one of the previews and thats Katie girls in it right? In the last one at the end didnt it say she had gone missing until this day... so they found her? or is it another girl? Anyway id like to see it!
saw it tonight. thought it was crap. Not once was i scared, and it was so predictable. I felt more scared in Bioshock 2! For those who have seen it, i won't say how it is predictable.

ehhh, i didnt find it that scary at all... it was kinda gay...
especially at the end, it made no sense? like a few things didnt addd up (i cant say what as i dont want to give it away but yeah,,, a few things were left unanswered as if they FORGOT to add it? i dunno

I saw this by myself. Hahaha! First time for everything. I quite enjoyed the flick also Ben. But I agree with what you said about punk kids laughing! One guy screamed his tits off when she was something down the stairs lol.
I was confused tho. I saw the American version of PA. And the bitch got shot down. Thought it was weird seeing her again lol.
I like the first one better. Still freaks me out what may happen while I'm asleep!

did u watch the movie stoned bro? haha if you didnt pick up, it was a prequel. it was actually set before the first one. didnt u see towards the end of the 2nd one it went to the beginning of the first one? when her and her husband just bought the video camera and start recording their new house? then it shows various parts from the first one, then continues from the end of the first one, when after she kills her husband in the first one, she goes to her sisters house and kills her sisters husband etc etc baby taken etc black screen etc lol
oh and i laughed pretty hard when that birds boyfriend was moving the ouija board to spell pussy haha. count me in as one of those emo kids laughing lol

I thought the characters looked familar! Lol!! It took me a while but I figured it was the prequel. I was no stoned and my eyes did not deceive me. The one I watched,
first PA ended with the sister stabbing her husband. Then she was seen sitting in the corner of the bed for 24 hours. You actually see her sister walking around the house looking for the couple. She founds what's his names body. Runs out. Calls the cops. And they find the girl upstairs covered in blood. The cops open fire and shes dead.

Yup that's the alternative ending, i have the option for that ending on the DVD I have. Either way, im still convinced you were stoned. /end of discussion
