Yeah I do marketing and shoutcasting for netGameRadio, BF and CSS stuff, not much cod.

I'll be working for Tt next year :-)

Started out playing competition BF2 with Team Renegade, moved to BC2 with Team7 (#1 for 4v4 and top 6 for 8v8), now onto CSS with ckA.

Ha cool. Can't say I've ever heard of netGameRadio but sounds like you guys are quite similar to Gamestah who've done plenty of shoutcasts for my L4D1 matches. We basically stayed undefeated for 10 months until the competitive scene eventually died. I play L4D2 competitively now but that scene is also about to die.

Yeah L4D seemed to require some awesome teamwork, especially carrying out stuff at the same time.

We are kind of like Gamestah yes, but we do things a little differently

I also used to play 1.6 back in the day. Even made it to the WCG AU qualifiers and lost to XR (Victoria's top team at the time) to come 5th or something. Still, 5th out of all the teams in Australia didn't seem so bad!

I see that a lot of the players I used to play with are still around in the pro circuit.

a quick breakdown.

my gaming days started when i was living in america playing cod2. dommed pub then got picked up by a team playing in CAL-i. Eventually made it into CAL-p then came back over to Australia and started playing pub again lol. Got recognized and started playing CG-i cod2. cod4 got released and played cg-i for /rcon, exile5 and frenetic array. went back to cod2 cg-i. now i work and dont have time for gaming lol

My team came second place in a 5v5 clan war on cs 1.6 back in 03. We thought we were good til we battled what looked like 15 year old kids. Man they Were co ordinated. All we did was split up and manned different sections. Map was Aztec

Hi Guys,

Well where do I start. I began playing Quake III Back in 1999/2000 and was stuck on it, used to LAN with my brother, and from then on goto small meets with my friends and LAN.

In about 2004/2005 I got into MTA-VC, A mod allowing Multiplayer functionality for GTA Vice City, pretty much endless possibilities of what you could do with online play, the scene was huge back then but died down.

Then after that I bought Farcry and played endless hours online.

After that I just played a few random Singleplayer games, can't really find any good Multiplayer games these days.

Austen you should try out QuakeLive.

haha I wonder if quake live will let me load my config?

I used to play quakeworld duel/ffa for hours on end everyday. Back when you had to sit on the server and spectate because there were so many people on it.

Still to this day, I believe no first person shooter has even come close to the intensity of quakeworlds gameplay

Austen I thought you could just change all the settings in the Menu on Quakelive, anyway here is a config generator for it :

Mate you need to get into quake live

Quake live is q3 but in a browser, tonns of players and servers all hosted nearby. I jump on all the time.

If you ever played a mod called rocket arena, the quakelive version is Clan Arena. It's no self damage, so rocket jumping and stuff is all expected and necessary.

Just remember to press alt enter when you join a server so it goes fullscreen. Don't need a good PC this game was originally 2000! So it expects a POS laptop or something ;)
