So where do i go to get one and what club do i need to be assoicated with??

I know Skylines Australia, WRX and the Porsche club often have cams associated events together.

Carl, join any of the proper clubs listed on the CAMS website. That club can then process your paperwork for you, or you do the paperwork and get them to endorse it.

A level 2 speed(L2S) licence is about $100 per year, and club fees vary from a couple of bucks to a couple of hundred a year. L2S will allow you on to tracks for track days, drifting, hill climbs, motorkhanas and all events where you are not 'wheel to wheel' racing.

CAMS requires you to join a club, as this helps boost club numbers and keep grassroots motorsports alive.

Might be worth joining the MG Car Club QLD. They also own the Mt Cotton Hill Climb track, so the membership there lets you enter their events.

They will also help you with the cams stuff, so you can get your cams licence at the same time.

If you have the car insured with Shannons, make sure you call them and tell them you have a Cams license :-)
