Ok, have a think about what his goal was, if he smashed it, he can obviously afford to smash it. His goal was to get attention about the bad customer service and given that this is on pretty much every car forum in the world now and most news sites I would say its a resounding success. |

well the Mechanic's in the garage failed to sort the problem and damaged the bumper and chassis.

From TFA, the car was a lemon and the owner was fed up with it. Lamborghini refused to fix it properly, so he hired a crew to smash it, probably knowing that his plight will go viral online.
Who cares, its a Gallardo which is worth SFA these days. $150k landed from the UK with all of or BS taxes (LCT, GST etc). In China, he would have paid $100k - $120k tops.
PS: those hammer throws are WEAK. Do some real damage ffs lol. |

wow they areg etting paid to "destroy" it.... they are the worst workers ever. that guy took 3-4 hits to smash the tail light!!! would do more damage wit hone of them kids hammers that squeak when you hit something |

Yeah, I wouldn't buy one just based on the pic on here of the welding in the rear sub frame - utter •••• - seriously the robots that make Toyota Prius's do a much better job than that. |

Yeah, I was basing mine on not Costa's post and not having to pay any bills either =) I get paid in Kiwi Groats, which isn't much once you convert it to gold coated Australian dollars at the moment.
Realistically a late model used Aurion or G6E is as far as my budget will ever stretch, and that's depending on how much the house renovations cost. I'll never own a supercar, so it makes me sick to see one get smashed up by some tool just because he couldn't find someone to fix it for him. |
