A few years ago when the whole Augmented Reality was brand new, there was a team of technicians putting together an augmented reality training module system. The idea being you take over your camera and it tells you where the bolts are by the picture it see's, giving you all the specific details on the part and how to repair it or replace based on the picture it is looking at.
So that's kind of cool. I expect this to be that.
2009 i think is when this was from, quickly looking at youtube i can find a link
Either i've remembered it a bit wrong, or my youtube is about something similar.

Well actually the picture was meant to reflect our dependence on electronic goods heh. Look at the iphone phenomena. Everyone's carrying one these days.
I thought it was pretty funny that someone would use the magnifying feature of the tablet's camera.

I think the Youtube clip demonstrates that even better - now any moron can do a complex job just by following the arrows and diagrams right in front of their eyes.
Imagine - augmented reality heart surgery!
I wonder how long until all this knowledge is stored in the cloud, and nobody knows how to do anything any more without following instructions.
