Does anyone have one of the newish Garmin 2460LT GPS units?
If so, from main menu go Tools, Settings, MyMaps and it should show as 2012:10 or 2012:30 depending on whether it's been updated. Make a note which you have.
Then, from Main menu, go: Where to?, Points of Interest, Hospitals.
Tap the magnifying glass at top left (Search) and enter Royal <enter>
Does it show Royal Adelaide Hospital?
There is an issue where a lot (most?) of the hospitals and actually in the Hospitals list. Perhaps no biggie, but if I suddenly needed to get to a hospital and the GPS ignores the biggest and closest, but tries to send you many k's away instead, it's not a good thing.
The Garmin 1450T works fine, so probably this issue is confined to the 2460.
Garmin Tech Support have been pretty useless.
Their first response was mostly about how to get BlueTooth working! Huh? That wasn't the question.
After asking again, I got a reply from a guy in Sydney, but over the course of many emails, he is a stuck record saying I have to upgrade my maps to 2012:30 - the latest, but I have replied many times that I do in fact have those maps installed. D'oh...
The salesman where I bought it from contacted their Garmin sales rep, and they said it appeared to actually be caused by the latest map.
So if anyone could do the above test and report back your map version number and whether the Royal Adelaide Hospital shows up, that would be quite helpful in determining the exact cause.

Peter, I have GarminMobilePC with these maps: City Navigator Australia & New Zealand NT 2012.30 and putting in ROYAL does indeed show Royal Adelaide Hospital. Not sure if they are the same maps as you though.
