Same thing happened to mine. Unfortunately only options are to remove the woodgrain and have it back to black, find a new one, or try to match it up with a full replacement kit so they all match.

It's hard to pick what's happened to your woodgrain, Kristoph. I've just fitted an original piece of woodgrain, and it's plastic, yours looks like wood that's lost a layer- the wood trim on the doors is a laminate, like plywood although there's a layer of aluminium in there.
If it is indeed real wood, I'd suggest all you could do would be to strip the darker section back to the same level as the pale wood and stain it dark again, then seal it. The pale "wood" if that's what it is, doesn't look like birdseye maple which is what the door/dash trim is (the topmost layer, at least).
