I'm wondering if anybody has worked on any other lexus's other than the soarer, and are they just as easy to work on as the soarer? Does the IS300 or LS400 have the same diagnostics abilities with a screen inside the car without needing a computer to hook up to it?
I am so impressed with the ease of fault finding and reliability of my Soarer, when when i bought it i thought it was going to be an expensive toy, it's been the cheapest car to maintain I've ever owned.
I'm really keen to get another lexus now, perhaps an is300 for my wife and a ls400 for me, pending on them being similar to my soarer.

LS400 has same engine bay layout as Soarer from memory, and owing to a bit more space around the engine is arguably a bit easier to work on than the Soarer. ECU access is easier, too

I've only worked on soarers and supras as far as Toyota/Lexus goes, but the ones you've mentioned are basically 4 door versions of soarers and share the same motors with minor differences. I've had soarers for nearly 15years and can't think of anything that comes close for the money.
