Mine says 'Reepa.com is gone!' up the top and the page says:
This site has been removed from public access.

THe proximate cause was a debate over whether Reepa should have either done or admitted the act of doing >240km/h on a freeway (and was done by police for it). I assume there was more behind it that I did not see spoken on the forum, something simmering which was triggered by that event, because the flak he took would not ordinarily have been enough to cause his complete withdrawal.
I have not met him myself but from speaking with a friend who has and reading his posts here (i.e. apart from his long standing reputation), I am saddened that he has gone and hope he will return eventually, whether here or on his own site. |

There are some people on this site that just push the limits too far in these conversations, they should really think what they are doing before hitting "Post message"!!! And because of this we loose a great member yet again... |

This wasn't the sole reason for it, but it was the straw that broke the camels back...it's been a long time coming.
So many long standing members are gone and not coming back....ie Harry Lemmens...
We both think the standard of the Forum has gone down hill....and he feels that he is not getting back anything for his input... |

Sorry to hear that Silvia.
I'm sure all the efforts of long time contributors, including Rob's, are really appreciated by many of us. I've found over the years that its these people and their efforts that make soarer ownership so rewarding.

That does suck, as i am currently doing my audio install and would have really liked the help from his tutorials.
I don't know the history of it, so i really can't comment.
If i was to blame anyone, i blame the internet! :P

I think we are all pretty sad that Reepa has felt that enough is enough. Hopefully he will reconsider at some point.

Nah, he is fine, that is a pic of him as recently as Saturday. In the Victoria Dyno Day thread there is even a pic of him in bed with his latest conquest.
