I have a tt soarer and I live in QLD where there are no laws forbiding a p plater like my self from owning a turboed car. My question is am I allowed to go south to NSW and VIC with the soarer or am I not allowed to drive on their roads, with a turboed car. Also do I need to have an actual p plate on my car as it is not required in Queensland to have them.

Not sure, but it is required that you try to achieve primary school level with your posts. Please use capital letters where appropriate in your posts.

That saves you from looking too dorkish and saves me the hassle of deleting posts and suspending you for repeat offences - we both win :-)

Ken, while correcting your posts you might want to be aware that "i" should also be "I".

Your point about the rules is?

Before you answer, please read them in entirety and not just selected passages as you have quoted above. In particular, this part may be of interest to you right now. Respect the Mods:

I do Respect the Mods, however I made a mistake (which I have since fixed all mistake I can see that you asked me to fix, as it says in the rules, you asked I fixed) but the rules are there for everyone. Condensending phrases such as,

(...it is required that you try to achieve primary school level with your posts.) and
(...saves you from looking too dorkish...)

are not a nice way to speak to anyone, as I have seen in other posts you have asked people not to do it again as in, (SMS speak is not tolerated, do not do it again.)etc... and that is all while I recive a sarcastic remark. Why is this?

Both are stated facts. Badly presented posts do reflect badly on the author, and primary school level of presentation is all we are asking for. Similar comments have also been made to other members.

As your post wasn't as bad as some, it was more a case of trying to be a little humorous about it, hence the smiley at the end of the post. I can't control how you choose to read it.

Okay lets say then I post up a picture of a naked person, the rules say no porn etc..., however what if the photo was taken by a famous artist, what is to happen then? I think that the pictures are art however you see them as porn, where is the line drawn. Can I then be blamed for how you choose to view the art piece? Are you able to see the comparision? What is the oppinion of one may not be that of the many. So while you feel that your post may have been light hearted i however may have taken it to heart and been offended by its contents. which I am sure is not the true point of this forum is it? To offend its members?

"Do not be too annoying and do not get too easily annoyed."

"Please do not harass or intentionally annoy the mods. If they ask you to do something, please do it. If you do not like the mods or the moderation here, then feel free to not post here"

"Please do not try to cleverly circumvent some rule listed here. These rules are general guidelines and are very flexible"

In essence, these should have explained and covered your situation. Simplistically it means the mods and I can ping any post or user that we feel like, for almost whatever reason we feel like and don't have to justify our actions to you or anyone else.

Interestingly, the adults usually see the sense of what we are trying to achieve, it's only the jerks that feel the need to grandstand and waste our time with nit-picking and arguments.

You just made it worth my while to suspend you as I have no desire to debate the merits of art versus porn or anything else that is irrelevant to either this thread topic or your original lazy typing.

Morgan, just so you know, I didn't delete the Eye-Candy thread. One of the other mods felt it was just getting to be a total waste of time and exercised the delete option.

Probably largely because of the total pointlessness of your last post in it. Much like your pointless post in this one which is nothing more than baiting.

I believe that you can still drive the TT as you are licenced in QLD and QLD has a different licencing if you were to move to NSW you will have to check with the RTA.

DON'T QUOTE ME THOUGH.

It's like those people who had there licence before the rule came in are still able to drive modified and turboed cars.
