| I have come to a decision, which in hindsight was easy to make. And that is I will NOT be Bourboning (or any other form of boozing!) from now on. It's not that I'm sick of getting overhangs. I'm lucky in that I DON'T get em! , even after quaffing VAST quantities of Bourby's , which in itself is a bit of a worry. Rather, it's the fact that being an obese, unfit, diabetic (type II) 52 year old womble, I've come to the stunning conclusion that I'm not doing meself any favours, and I would at least like to live for another 20 years or so. Neil actually started me thinking about giving up, coz as ewe's know he's a non-drinker, and does famously on gallons of caffeine (yummo!), and is a very happy chap without the aid of booze . Karen's never minded me boozing too much, but has voiced concern, on occasion that she worries about me in the long term. So for the sake of the people I know and love, and who care about me (all 2 of them, HaHa!), I'm giving it away.

Now by saying that, do you mean you have a still have a bit stored somewhere? If you're giving the booze away, sign me up for it, I'm quite willing to take some off you |

| Thanks for the support guys. It IS much appreciated It's a funny old thing, that sometimes in life you get to meet someone in a foreign country who, without words being spoken, can influence you for the better..........That person is Neil Griffiths, THE man, THE legend! Many, many thanks Mate |

| Holy crap!! I had to go clean my glasses AND the monitor before I could believe my eyes: Don's givin up the booze. Bloody hell, I better start building a boat - a very big boat and I better get the missus to start rounding up two of every animal...... Seriously Don, good on yer. I stopped drinking heavily many years ago and now just settle for the very occasional glass of red. I even gave up the fags (sorry Perry) 6 years ago. I'm about the same shape as your good self (round is a shape) and have decided to start back at the gym again. Good luck to you. So now it's |

| Good move Baggs! Considering the factors you've mentioned, you're being very wise! And this is from one Bourbon drinker to another mate! Now get out there, start hitting the pavement and when you've finished that do a little resistance training. I've had a 7 month spell from the weights (injury and work commitments) and boy, have I noticed!! IT'S TIME for me too!! Go man ! |

| Get me the oxygen bottle QUICK!! Good on you Don. As a 52 year old as well, we tend to start thinking about our future ,sometimes too late. I , like Neil, am a non drinker, and it has never stopped me from haveing fun. Age and health problems tend to change your way of thinking. |

| There is someone very close to me in my family who is an alcoholic...I hate what heavy drinking does to people. I know you are nowhere near that category Don, unfortunately as some of us age a little, its time to get crap which is not helping out of our life (its not about marriage either) it is harder to make those changes as you get older....but you can!! Good on you Don. You are the Man! |
