That reminds me Katrina. If you see "George dubya" can you say thanks. For the small cost of doubling my fuel bill each week which I am happy to pay, we now have an Iraq free of weapons of mass destruction.

I remember the days where you could get a gallon for 99 cents.. thinking, wow I'm glad I'm in college and can afford to pay for gas!!
As for George W ... that man is going to make me leave my kids for a very long period of time starting late Sept going well into next year.. so I'm even less of a fan than you are.. TRUST ME

Not trying to sound old or anything, but I remember when we were off to Te Kaha for holidays and we put 4 gallons (the 4.54 l Imp one) in the Zephyr 6 for $0.98 per gallon.
And all this only thirty years ago....

Wasn't the oil crisis on about 30 years ago? I was 1 so I don't really remember it, but they were having car free days and stuff back then weren't they?

In a few days my soarer will get here but for right now i am driving a company vehicle, a full sized cargo van to be exact. With in alberta being about 115.4 cents/L CAD it's not quite as bad as over in AUS and NZ but with a 133L tank that only lasts 700 kms paying for gas hurts.
